Hello and welcome to my website!

My belief is that success in learning to play an Instrument often depends on finding the right teacher.  A teacher of whom is patient at every level with a student.  I have discovered this within my own lessons throughout my own learning over the years.

My own teaching philosophy is based on being able to gain a rapport with my students, to help aid their learning experience and to promote confidence and self belief.

I enjoy working with each individual student and adapting to suit the needs of the student.  Each and every student learns at different paces.  Some adapt very quickly, while others may need a different approach and may need more time and exploration with the learning process. 

My teaching style focuses on self-exploration and learning how to discover a passion for music.

I teach mainly in the classical style and also provide guidance for those wishing to pursue grades with Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, should you wish to.  

​

I teach in line with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and provide exam support from Initial to Intermediate level.  I also provide support and tuition towards music theory exams to grade 6.

I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and currently hold an enhanced disclosure.
